This wonderful journey started at our school at 6:00 a.m when the bus took us to the Warsaw Modlin airport. The plane took off at 10.35 a.m and we arrived at the London Stansted airport at around 1 p.m our time. Then, we headed for London where we met our tour guide – Anna. She showed us the most exciting places in this city: the Tower Bridge, Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral, “The Clink” prison that was transformed into a museum, Shakespeare’s mural and a lot more. According to the proverb „When in Rome, do as the Romans do” we immersed in a scrumptious dinner (fish and chips of course) at Traitors’ Pub. That was an exhausting,but at the same time absolutely amazing day spent on the British land. We can’t wait for tomorrow.
09.10.2024 – zaczęliśmy od zwiedzania najsłynniejszych brytyjskich muzeów. W pierwszej kolejności udaliśmy się do Muzeum Victorii i Alberta, następnie Historii Naturalnej oraz Muzeum Brytyjskiego. Po obejrzeniu niesamowitych eksponatów przejechaliśmy tradycyjnym dwupiętrowym autobusem pod Pałac Buckingham. Na koniec dnia udaliśmy się do China Town, gdzie zjedliśmy kolację. Po dniu pełnym niezapomnianych wrażeń przejechaliśmy metrem (najstarszym na świecie) do hotelu. Ale to jeszcze nie jest koniec naszej londyńskiej przygody. Stay tuned.
